The hamlet council, which includes both young and old members of the community, is responsible for the administration and governance of services and programs. The hamlet office is the core of these services and includes departments for Recreation, Economic Development, Community Lands, Water and Sewage services, Public Works, the Landfill, and the Quarry. A variety of social programs are operated out of the Hamlet, as well.
